Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several TV shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and were granted asylum to remain. She is the middle of with two brothers and sisters, and was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada launched her television career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate this performance, she was nominated in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for Best Actress. Her television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include a role as a support for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada has been cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital, which was broadcast on prime-time TV. Night Shift, season 2 as Dr. Saira Batra a specialist in holistic medicine. Ghanizada was cast in the role of Kelly the Prada salesperson on HBO Entourage. In 2009, she starred in the Tough Trade pilot from Weeds' creator Jenji Cohan, and executive producer T Bone Burnett.
